SRINAGAR, June 19: In a bizarre incident a woman ended her life by consuming poisonous substance and also poisoned her three year old daughter to death in a village in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
A police spokesman said that a lady (name with-held) resident of Gunoosar-Kulgam ended her life along with her three years old daughter by consuming some poisonous substance at her home. The spokesman said that both the lady and her daughter were shifted to the District Hospital, Kulgam where doctors declared them brought dead.
The spokesman said the bodies were handed over to their legal hairs for last rites. Police has registered a case and further investigations have been taken up.
Meanwhile, a 16 years old girl (name with-held) resident of Khudalan-Nowsheeri, Boniyar, consumed some poisonous substance at her home. The girl was immediately shifted to the hospital for treatment and police has registered a case.
