JAMMU, June 2: President of All JK +2 Lecturers’ Forum Pardeep Singh Rakwal along with General Secretary Ghar Singh today called on JKBOSE Chairman, Prof Parikshat Singh Manhas in his office Chamber and urged for early declaration of class 12th results.
The duo told the Chairman that a delegation of parents of examinees of 12th class had approached the Forum urging for early declaration of 12th class results citing the reason that many professional colleges have started the counseling for admission to various courses but due to non- declaration of the results by JKBOSE, they are at the verge of losing the seats and a precious year of their wards.
Responding to the issues raised by the Forum, Prof Manhas assured that BOSE is following a uniform academic calendar for Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh and last paper in hard zone areas was conducted on 23.05.2023 followed by practicals on 30.05.2023. Despite of this, the BOSE would try its best to declare the result of class 12th class within a week’s time in the interest of career of students, he added.
