JAMMU, June 2: The NSS Unit of the Government College of Education Jammu today organized a rally under Mission LiFE of the Government of India to generate mass movement about environmental conscious lifestyle.
The rally was flagged off from the college premises by the Principal Prof Aekta Gupta, who while addressing the participants, said that objective behind the LiFE movement is to transform persons into ‘pro-planet people’, who would adopt sustainable lifestyles.
The rally was led by NSS Programme Officer Dr Shubhra Jamwal, who said that NSS volunteers will leave no stone unturned to channel the efforts of individuals and communities into a mass movement of positive behavioural change towards the environment.
Prof Rajinder Kour, Prof Shalini Rana, Prof Seema, Prof Sarita, Prof Neeraj and Prof Shapia also participated in the rally.
