Srinagar, June 3: The Government today attached the Assistant Commissioner (Panchayat) Kupwara for poor performance in the Swachh Bharat Mission – Gramin Scheme in the district.
As per an order issued here by the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, the concerned officer shall remain attached to the Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara till further orders.
“In view of the poor performance in SBM (G) and the interest of administration, it is hereby ordered that Parvaiz Rahim, Assistant Commissioner (Panchayat) Kupwara is divested of his responsibilities of the implementation of schemes of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj and is hereby attached with the Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara till further orders.”
Consequent to the above, the order stated that Hilal Ahmad Mir, Assistant Commissioner (Development), Kupwara shall hold the additional charge of Assistant Commissioner (Panchayat) Kupwara, till further orders.
“It is further ordered that Arshad Hussain Ganai, Block Development Officer, Block Sogam, District Kupwara shall hold the additional charge of District Panchayat Officer (DPO), Kupwara, till further orders.”
