RAJOURI, June 4: An atmosphere of panic gripped Dhangari area here today evening when gun of a Village Defense Committee (VDC) member, Ashok Kumar injured his nephew in an accidental shot. According to reports, Kumar, a resident of Lower Panchayat of Dhangri, was cleaning his gun and his brother Kala Ram’s son Sunil Kumar and his own son Anil Kumar were also present there when suddenly an accidental shot was fired.
Sunil was hit on shoulder and was rushed to GMC Rajouri where doctors started his treatment and his condition was stated to be stable.
On the other hand, taking cognizance of the matter, cops led by SHO Rajouri, Shokat Hussain reached the spot and seized the gun and started investigation.
