JAMMU, June 4: A free medical camp was organized today by Ramakrishna Mission Udhaywala, Jammu.
During the camp, Kidney Specialist Dr SK Bali, Cancer Specialist Dr Sumit Pandita, Ayurveda Specialist Dr Sonia Gupta, General Physician Dr BD Sharma, Dr Vasundhara Verma, Dr Romesh Kumar, Ophthalmologist Dr Reema Sadhu, Physiotherapist Dr Meghna Sharma and Dentist Dr Tanu Gandotra, did free checkup of the visiting patients.
Apart from this, blood sugar, uric acid test and BP investigation were also done free of cost. Dr Rakesh Raina and Dr Neeru Kharoo were also present during the camp. A total of 320 patients were screened in this free camp. Along with this, medicines were also provided free of cost to many patients. More than 275 sugar tests and 85 uric acid tests were done free of cost in the camp.
Ramakrishna Mission Jammu, following the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna Dev, Maa Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda, provides cultural, educational and medical services to the needy.
