JAMMU, June 5: Responding promptly to Central University of Jammu (CUJ) Vice-Chancellor Prof Sanjeev Jain’s concern regarding transportation within the Varsity campus, SBI donated two e- rickshaws today.
While flagging off the environment-friendly rickshaws, Prof Sanjeev Jain expressed gratitude to Sanjeev Mahajan (Regional Manager, SBI) for his philanthropic gesture. Prof Jain said, “It is heartening to see that industrial and corporate houses are getting sensitized towards Corporate Social responsibility (CSR).”
“This will facilitate transportation of students, faculty and guests and help stem air and noise pollution,” said Prof Jain. SBI Regional Manager Sanjeev Mahajan, RBO3 Jammu also joined Prof Sanjeev Jain in flagging off e- rickshaws.
Registrar CUJ Prof Yashwant Singh, Relationship Manager RBO3 Jammu Gulshan Kumar, Relationship Deputy Manager Sandeep Sambyal and Branch Manager Varinder Dabgotra were also present on the occasion.
