SSP inaugurates Medical Checkup Camp

JAMMU, June 6: Samvedna Society Jammu in collaboration with Medanta Hospital Gurgaon organized a free health checkup camp at Mata Bawe Wali Temple (Bahu Fort).
The camp was inaugurated by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu, Chandan Kohli and he was accompanied by SP South, Shaheen Wahid, SDPO East, Sayeed Zaheer Abbas, SHO Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station, Inspector Arti Thakur, In-charge Police Post Mandir Bahu Fort, SI Parshotam Lal and others.
A medical team of experts, including a Physician and a Physiotherapist, examined Pujaris, Sewadars and devotees at Mata Bawe Wali temple and conducted Pulmonary Function Test, ECG, Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure and other tests free of cost.
More than 140 patients were examined by physician and about 85 by the physiotherapist.
Speaking on the occasion SSP Jammu, Chandan Kohli said that organizations like Samvedna play an important role in providing help and care to people at their doorstep.
Chairman Samvedna Society, Keshav Chopra said they are committed to provide best health care facilities to the common man and assured that he along with his team will continue to conduct free medical camps for the common people in the future also.
Dr. Arvind Sharma (Physician), Dr. Gaurav Vaid (Physiotherapist), Sandeep Singh Jamwal (Assistant Manager Marketing), Ashutosh Sharma, Twinkle Bhagat, Saniya Sharma, Akshay, Ritesh, Manshu Skolia, Rinkal Manhas, Riya Thapa, Akash Sharma, Pawandeep, Anju, Manoj Tandon, Divyansh Gupta, Sushil Gupta and others were also present during the Camp.
