BSF organizes eye camp

SAMBA, Dec 6: A free eye medical camp was organized today by 122 Bn BSF Paloura Camp, Jammu, here at far flung and remote border village Badiyal Brahmana.
The camp was inaugurated by Commandant 122 Bn BSF, Manish Aul.
During the camp, a team of doctors including Dr K K Gautam, CMO (SG) and Dr Suresh Sharma, eye specialist from Govt Hospital, Bishnah, examined the patients. The spectacles and medicines were distributed free of cost to the needy patients after testing their eyes.
About 400 people from Village Badiyal Brahmana and neighboring villages comprising of old people, youth and children took benefit of this eye cum medical camp.
Others present in the camp were Deputy Commandant, M S Khair, Deputy Commandant and Assistant Commandant (Coy Commander), Gautam Singh, Assistant Commandant (Coy Commander) and Munshi Ram and Sarpanch of the area, Tarsem Lal.
