Nine years of Modi Govt golden era of hope, development: Ritika

JAMMU, June 8: Chief spokesperson of J&K BJP Mahila Morcha Ritika Trehan today termed nine years of Modi Government a golden era of hope and development.
In a statement issued here over the achievements of Modi Government in last nine years, Ritika said that several developmental works have been carried out during this tenure for the welfare of the country and its people. “Also, the image of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has increased multi-fold during this time. Indian economy which was 1 trillion dollars in 2014, has now crossed 3.5 trillion dollars. India has more than 50 lakh crore forex reserves. The country exported goods worth Rs 36 lakh crore, almost doubled the exports in 2014,” she said.
Ritika further said that during this period, more than four crore house under PM Awas Yojana were sanctioned, over 48.9 crore accounts opened under Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Rs 29 lakh crore directly transferred to beneficiary bank accounts under various schemes, more than 80 crore poor were provided food grains under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana and Rs 5,182 crore disbursed in 42.87 accounts under PM SVANidhi till March 2023.
She maintained that more than Rs 7,558 crore worth of loans have been sanctioned by the Modi Government under Stand Up India to SC and ST beneficiaries, 28.90 crore unorganized workers registered in E-Shram Portal, saved Rs 71,301 crore by weeding out dummy LPG connections and settled Rs 13,290 crore claims under PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana.
