Top cop speaks

Sir,
Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police,  Ashok Prasad has spoken some very important things in respect of the  unfriendly and aggressive intentions of Pakistan towards this country and has said that we do not find any change in the hearts of the Pakistan establishment on account of our policy of dialogue .  He has opined to have a relook in our policy and strategy of always being defensive and friendly with respect to Pakistan.and offer of talks and dialogue have all yielded no fruits.  Pakistan did not believe in the policy of accommodation but only aggression and we need to safeguard our security. He also termed our two neighbours, Pakistan and China as posers of threat to our principal security.
One took help from the “Afgan factor” and the other (China) in terms of territorial aggression.  Mr. Prasad’s statement comes at a most appropriate time and is politically and strategically very true. After a long time, some one from the Police force has come out with the gigantic and on the ground reality about the political scenario vis-vis  Pakistan and our offer of amity and friendship.  Can the political leadership respond positively to the suggestions of the top cop of the state?
Yours etc…
