BHOPAL (MP), June 9: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National executive member and former Minister Priya Sethi has said that the BJP Government’s nine-year rule under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been a golden period for the common people of India and the Party is set to rule the world’s largest democracy for a third consecutive term after 2024 Parliamentary elections.
The senior BJP leader said this while addressing a huge gathering at a function organized under BJP’s Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan here today. She said that during the nine years of BJP rule, India has achieved unprecedented heights nationally and internationally with priority on development and economic fronts. Sethi said that India’s position on the global stage has seen an unprecedented rise during a short span of nine years, with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi being the most sought after global leader for finding solutions to important global issues.
The former minister emphasized that the 8 flagship schemes launched by the Modi Government have proved to be game changers in transforming the nation, especially through financial inclusion, strengthening banking system besides excellent financial services promoting entrepreneurship on a large scale.
Claiming that the Government of India led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched some important schemes including Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Rural Toilet Scheme; Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana; Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana, Labor Card Scheme etc, Sethi said the PM has launched most of these schemes for rural areas, as states across the country including Madhya Pradesh and the bulk of the land in the Union Territories is rural. She said that the ultimate objective of implementing these schemes for the residents of rural areas is to make them self-reliant.
The senior BJP leader said that that the BJP workers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the benefits of these schemes reach the common people at the grassroots level. She urged them to work tirelessly to achieve the target set for the 2024 elections on the strength of their hard work.
