JAMMU, June 9: The water supply has been totally disrupted in some localities of Durga Nagar Ward 64 for over last one week putting the people of the area to many hardships.
The residents of the area said that despite repeated pleas to Jal Shakti authorities no steps were taken to restore water supply.
They said the water supply was hit after a machine at pumping station developed a snag. Though the same could be restored within four to five hours but the authorities have failed to remove fault till date with the result people are facing many hardships. The residents have also warned agitation in case immediate steps were not taken to restore water supply so that people may have a sigh of relief.
