Natrang organizes ‘Fun and Fitness with Yoga’ at Children Theatre Workshop

JAMMU, June 10: The participants of Natrang’s Summer Theatre Camp-2023 had a wonderful session today in ‘Fun and Fitness with Yoga’ programme by Ayush J&K.
The session proved successful and the children learned basics of Yoga like Asana, Breathing and Chanting.
Under the aegis of the Directorate of Ayush J&K, Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu organized the special customized programme for the participants of Natrang Children Theatre Workshop wherein Yoga experts made children aware about various health and fitness benefits of Yoga.
Dr. Arun Gupta from Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital demonstrated various Asana, Pranayama, Mudra to the children.
A new full-length play would also be prepared by the participants during the ongoing Natrang’s Theatre Camp-2023 which would be presented before larger audiences who will get a chance to watch a wonderful children’s play as the outcome of the summer theatre camp.
The training module is designed by Padmashree Balwant Thakur, who has taken the children theatre of Jammu to the entire length and breadth of the country. The workshop module is consistently developed and upgraded by Suraj Singh, Anil Tickoo, Neeraj Kant, Sanjeev Gupta and Aarushi Thakur Rana, Chander Shekhar and senior functionaries of Natrang.
A dedicated team of artists/trainers which include Gauri Thakur (Workshop Coordinator), Mohd. Yaseen, Meenakshi Bhagat, Kananpreet Kaur, Palshin Dutta, Mihir Gujral and Sheryaar Salaria are looking after the smooth functioning of the workshop.
