UDHAMPUR, June 11: Military Engineering Service Builder Association of India (MES BAI) branch Udhampur held general body election in Udhampur today and elected Darshan Proach as Chairman of MESBAI Branch Udhampur.
Darshan secured 49 votes and defeated his rival Vijay Kumar Gupta by a margin of nine votes.
Sandeep Gandotra (Shotu) was elected for the post of Secretary and he defeated Sanjeev Singh. Sndeep Gandotra secured 56 votes while his rival Sanjeev Singh who polled 34 votes.
Varinder Singh defeated Kapil Gupta and won the post of Senior Vice-chairman, while Ashwani Kumar, Susheel Kumar, Kush Pachayla, SL Sham and Umesh Kumar were declared winner for the post of Vice-Chairman.
Tarun Magotra was elected as Honorary Joint Secy and Anoop Khajuria as Honorary Treasurer while Bikram Singh Slathia, Neeraj Paul, Anil Kumar, Sanjay Sharma and Naresh Kumar Sharma were elected as council members.
The entire election process was conducted under the supervision of election commission comprising Sunil Baru (Samyli), Vicky Mahajan and Pardeep Kumar.
