Bakaya asks DC to extend date of forms up to ending January

JAMMU, Dec 7: NC MLC and former Chief Secretary, Vijay Bakaya today urged the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar to extend the last date for submission of membership forms from December 13 to ending January 2014 for the Jeshta Devi Prabhandak Committee.
He also urged the DC Srinagar to ensure that every body who is interested in seeking the form gets it without any difficulty.
Mr Bakaya was addressing a meeting of the residents of Bohri, Muthi, Anand Vihar and other localities who approached him today and alleged that they were facing difficulty in getting the membership forms for the Jeshta Devi Prabandhak Committee as the last date of submission of the same was up to December 13.
He expressed concern that some people were hampering the large scale participation of KPs in the management affairs of Jeshta Mata Shrine in Srinagar.
