JAMMU, June 12: The Air Vice Marshal, Praveen Keshav Vohra, AVSM VM, commanding Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, today called on DGP J&K Dilbag Singh and discussed the security scenario with the latter in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The DGP and the Air Vice Marshal discussed various issues relating to the overall security scenario in the Jammu and Kashmir particularly the attempts from across the border to disturb the pace,” read a press statement issued by the police.
It said that the officers also discussed counter measures including those for foiling attempts of infiltration, dropping arms and ammunition and drugs by Pakistan through drones.
The meeting was attended by ADGP Headquarters PHQ MK Sinha, and IGP Headquarters BS Tuti.
