JAMMU, June 12: Expressing serious concern over the difficulties being faced by the students, who have been allotted centers of CUET outside the Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party has demanded that the CUET centres should be kept within the J&K & rescheduled.

He also drew attention towards the difficulties being faced by the students due to the non-professional approach of the present Government in J&K.
He stressed that the State Governments and Universities must pay attention to the quality of education; `Campus to become the centre of happy and meaningful student life; move forward to build a “SWA” based system and the youth must defeat the conspiracy against unemployment & illiteracy.
He also slams BJP Government for the mismanagement in CUET. “The students who couldn’t take the exams have their whole year spoiled now. Everyone was hoping to have a better J&K after the abrogation of Article 370 as stated by the Central Govt on 5 August 2019, but all we are now watching is that even the fundamental right to Education is being snatched from the youth of our Jammu,” said the PDP leader.
In this Press Conference Sohit Sharma (District President of Jammu Urban), Chatter Saini (District President of Jammu Rural), Sunil Bhat (President of Migrant Cell) and Ashok Chib (District General Secretary) Tejinder Singh Naib Sarpanch were also present.
