CVPPPL celebrates 13th foundation day

JAMMU, June 14: Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited (CVPPPL) celebrated its 13th foundation day at CVPPPL Corporate Office in Jammu, Project Sites at Kishtwar and Camp Office, Faridabad. CVPPPL was incorporated on June 13, 2011 to harness the vast hydro potential of Chenab Basin in J&K.
The Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and gaiety by distributing sweet packets to the employees of Corporate Office. A cultural evening was also organized on the occasion for motivation of the employees. Pankaj Magotra, MD, JKSPDC and Bikram Singh, Executive Director, NHPC, RO Jammu and all officers were also present.
On the occasion, Hasan Nadeem (MD CVPPPL) addressed the employees and highlighted the major achievements in the construction works of three projects namely Pakal Dul HE Project (1000 MW), Kiru HE Project (624 MW) and Kwar HE Project (540 MW) in Kishtwar. Pakal Dul HE Project (1000 MW) and Kiru HE Project (624 MW) are expected to be commissioned by September 2026 and March 2026, respectively.
Nadeem stressed upon the employees to work hard to achieve the assigned milestones of the company. He as well as Raheela Wani (JMD) congratulated the employees and their families for the foundation day of CVPPPL.
The Day was also celebrated with the deprived section of the society by donating two Room Air Coolers and ration items to the “Home for the Aged & Infirm”, at Ambphalla, Jammu in association with CVPPPL Ladies Welfare Club, Jammu. On the occasion, Ursila Nadeem (president of CVPPPL Ladies’ Club) interacted with the aged persons living in this Old Age Home and assured them of continuous help by CVPPPL.
