Umar’s accomplishment is remarkable and should serve as inspiration for others given that he achieved it himself, without coaching assistance, and despite coming from a low-income background. On Tuesday morning, the entire village congratulated him on his success and praised his dedication and tenacity in overcoming all challenges to pass the esteemed NEET test.
Umer’s family was struggling to make both ends meet and was dependent on his income as a painter. He could not afford the luxury of enrolling in any coaching classes during his 11th or 12th grade due to financial constraints. Despite these obstacles, Umer persisted in his desire to pursue a higher education.
“I didn’t lose courage or give up. I worked as a painter during the day and studied late into the night to make my goal a reality,” he said.
Umer’s labourer father, Abdul Ahad, expressed his utter joy at his son’s achievement. “I used to work during the day and pay for his schooling with the earnings. I am ecstatic that my efforts have finally paid off after all of my obstacles,” he said.
Umer found it challenging to get where he was going. His main training method eventually became self-study, which he pursued assiduously for two years. As the NEET exam approached, he joined a group of 5,000 participants at Physics Walla, a well-known online resource. “Thankfully, I was able to use the resources and guidance to qualify for the exam,” he said.
“We can use the power of the internet to our advantage and succeed greatly. The biggest number of IAS officials are produced by the poor state of Bihar, demonstrating that in the modern world, poverty is no longer a barrier to success,” he said.
