JAMMU, June 14: Congress has already started preparations for hoisting the flag of victory in the Municipal elections to be held at the end of this year.
In the same context, Congress organized a program under the chairmanship of Block president Janak Raj in Ward 56 of Municipal Corporation today. On this occasion, in the presence of State Congress Committee working president Raman Bhalla and State Congress secretary and former Chairman of Jammu Municipal Corporation Satish Sharma, as many retired employees and other people of the block joined the Congress, which were welcomed by Raman Bhalla by garlanding them.
Bhalla said that the Congress is ready for every election at all times. He said that the way the retired employees and intellectuals of Jammu and Kashmir are joining the Congress every day, it is clear that the Municipal Corporation elections to be held at the end of this year and Congress will hoist the flag of victory everywhere in the Panchayat elections.
He said that BJP is ruling the country as well as Jammu and Kashmir for the last almost 9 years. But during his tenure, the people of Jammu and Kashmir have been badly hit by inflation and unemployment in the State. He said that the Government did not give employment to the youth, but by imposing tax on everything, the poor were deprived of food for two times.
Satish Sharma said that this time in the election of Jammu Municipal Corporation Congress will be the mayor and all the families coming under Jammu city will be given relief in everything. People are joining Congress shows how sad people are in BJP rule. On this occasion many leaders and workers including Janak Raj, Gurdas Mal Bittu, Darshan Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Subhash Kumar, Tarsem Langhe, Jitender Singh, Vijay Chib were present.
