Peace on borders ensured economic progress: Khatana

RAJOURI, June 17: BJP MP Rajya Sabha, Gulam Ali Khatana has said that peace on borders has resulted into economic progress in the frontier areas and people are now reaping the benefits by leading a peaceful life and indulging in daily chores without any fear. He said that peace on borders has been ensured by the tireless efforts of PM Narendra Modi who has shunned the policies of appeasement.
Addressing various programmes including beneficiary Sammelans, Sampark Se Samarthan and BJP party leaders at Dabbar Seri, Lam, Bakori Budhal in Rajouri border district as part of Nav Saal Bemisaal on completion of nine years of Modi Government, Gulam Ali said that earlier people on borders lived a life under fear of shelling, terrorist violence, firing from across the border but PM Modi ensured that cross border shelling and firing should end and people lead a peaceful life. He said that on the other hand Modi Government launched major economic initiatives, road and rail connectivity besides Atma Nirbhar Bharat, Make in India, Start up initiatives which gave boost to economic activity and job creation in the country.
He said that Ayushman Bharat scheme is a blessing for the poor who can now get treatment in best hospitals up to five lakh rupees free of cost. Otherwise people would beg for medical treatment and many would die in harness. The scheme has been implemented without any discrimination against any religion caste, rich or poor.
Gulam Ali urged the people to strengthen the hands of PM Modi for a rich prosperous and developed India.
