Education or business

Sir,
No individual is a human being in the working world until he has been educated in the proper sense. A person who gets good education will become a more dependable worker, a better citizen and a strong consumer. But education today has become an object of business which has serious repercussions on our society in particular. The more one can pay, higher the education he can get. Education was something that was always driven by devotion and thought. While it is also true that education must evolve as time passes but commercialization of education is the worst thing that could ever have happened. India has become a dirt pool where educational institutions proliferate like mushrooms. And there is none to cleanup.
Foremost among these are the engineering and medical colleges which have become the clubs of incompetent youngsters. These educational institutions have only an eye on money and nothing else.
In fact some institutions are not recognized or affiliated ones, they are simply fake and have the only motive of making money by issuing fake degrees to the students.. Even statistics also reveal that the private schools have now become business hubs with the objective of making profits by charging heavy tuition fees and other building funds from the poor and needy students also. If money is the basic consideration or prerequisite of such schools so providing quality education is a matter to think. These private schools have become now money minting machines. There is strong need to change the basics of the education system and the Government must stop the privatization and commercialization of education in order to revive education’s real importance.
Yours etc…..
