JAMMU, June 18: Yudhvir Sethi, Vice-President of the J&K BJP, and Baldev Billawaria, Deputy Mayor, jointly flagged off the Chhari Yatra of Saroli Mata from Mahalaxmi Temple in Pacca Danga, Jammu today.
As per a statement, the Yatra, organized by the Nav Durga Trust, concluded at Pancheri Block in Udhampur district.
Before the commencement of the Chhari Yatra, Yudhvir Sethi, Baldev Billawaria, Parmodh Kapahi, District President, Kuldeep Khandari, Karan Singh, Mahant Karannath, Mahant Rajinder Nath, Rajesh Bhardwaj, Chairman of Nav Durga Trust, and other prominent personalities performed Pooja and offered prayers for the peace and prosperity of the Union Territory.
Addressing the devotees present at the event, Yudhvir Sethi stressed the significance of communal harmony and social cohesion.
He extended his prayers and good wishes for the well-being of people across the country, including Jammu and Kashmir. Sethi emphasized that pilgrimages like the Chhari Yatra provide devotees with an opportunity to seek spiritual solace in the serene atmosphere of the pilgrimage site.
He expressed hope that the Chhari Yatra would contribute to peace and tranquility among different sections of society.
Sethi further highlighted the importance of the Chhari Yatra in bringing together people from diverse backgrounds, promoting unity, and celebrating cultural diversity.
He praised the efforts of the Nav Durga Trust in organizing this spiritual journey, as it not only strengthens religious sentiments but also fosters brotherhood and unity among individuals.
