JAMMU, June 18: A 39-year-old man was found dead here at Railway Station Jammu today, police said.
They said Pardeep Kumar (39) son of Ram Pal of Basant Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, was found unconscious at platform number 2 of the Jammu Tawi Railway Station.
He was shifted to Government Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him as dead on arrival, police said.
While the body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem, a case under relevant sections of the law stands registered at the concerned police station, added police.
