JAMMU, June 18: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists led by their leader, Sunil Dimple here today staged a protest demonstration against PDD and PHE Departments.
The protesters were expressing resentment against the unscheduled power cuts and water crisis in the city.
Addressing the protesters Dimple claimed that many localities in Jammu have not received drinking water supply for the last 72 hours.
The protesters were carrying empty utensils.
Dimple said that the Government is not starting work on Chenab Water Supply Project which may solve the water problem in Jammu city.
He also said that long power cuts and poor water supply have badly affected the life of Jammu people in these hot summer days.
Ram Kapoor, Harbans Tondon, Chaman Pawar, Bramu Sharma, Dev Raj, Jetinder Gupta, Kala Kumar, Balwant Kumar, Bunty, Rakesh Sharma, Mukesh Gupta, Vipan Gupta, Ashok Khanna and others were also present in the protest.
