PNB distributes 42 KCC

JAMMU, Dec 9: Committed to facilitate easy finance to the farmers, Punjab National Bank under its Special Agriculture Credit Campaign organized Kissan Credit Card disbursement functions at Miran Sahib and Lakhanpur in which 42 KCC and 1 Tractor loan involving a credit outlay of 59 lakhs were distributed to the farmers of Langotian, Darsopur, Kotli Arjun Singh, Kadyal villages of Hiranagar and Basantpur, Dhanna, Dhanour villages of Lakhanpur.
The function at Miran Sahib was inaugurated by Mohd. Latif Mir, Deputy General Manager, Circle Head J&K Operations who handed over KCC among 34 farmers involving a credit of Rs. 45 lakhs.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Mohd. Latif Mir said, “KCC will be provided to all the eligible farmers in the state. The scheme will be beneficial to the farmers for boosting their agriculture activities and help them in meeting timely short term credit requirements for cultivation of crops, post harvest expenses and profitable marketing of their produce.”
