J&K stall in G-20 exhibition emerges as point of attraction

JAMMU, June 19: Thousands of students, educationists, education secretaries of various States & UTs and delegates have visited the stall of J&K at G-20 exhibition going on in Pune, Maharashtra to gain the understanding of initiatives taken by Department of School Education, J&K Government.
In its effort to showcase the initiatives and achievements marked in the School Education J&K in recent years, the Department of School Education is participating in the ongoing National Level Exhibition, the part of 4th Educational Working Group (EdWG) Meet of G-20 going on in Pune Maharashtra.
The pedagogical approach in ECCE, Digital Initiatives like STEER (Student Teacher Engagement for Educational Reinforcement), JK Attendance App, SAMIKSHA and the initiatives for Nomadic Children are proving captivating and attracting the attention of all the visiting dignitaries.
The acknowledgement of the initiatives taken, received from Minister of State for Education, Anupurna Devi, Minister of School and Higher Education, Maharashtra, Secretary Education, DoSEL MoE, Government of India and Education Secretaries from almost all the States and UTs has brought laurels to J&K.
To boost the morale of exhibitors, Principal Secretary School Education Department J&K, Alok Kumar and Project Director Samagra Shiksha J&K, Deep Raj Kanethia visited the stall and interacted with the exhibitors.
The Principal Secretary along with the Project Director visited the stalls of other States to gain the knowledge about initiatives taken in those States.
It is pertinent to mention here that a team of seven officers/officials headed by the Coordinator Quality Samagra Shiksha J&K, Ajeet Sharma is representing UT in the exhibition.
