RAJOURI, Dec 9: Excise sleuths during raids at several villages in district Rajouri seized 70 liters of illicit liquor and arrested four persons in this connection.
An official spokesman said that Excise team led by Dr Sajjad Inspector Excise under the supervision of ETO Rajouri-Poonch Range, Salam Din Choudhary conducted series of raids at Potha, Bathuni, Sarnoo, Rajal, Chingus, Phalli, Narian, Patrara, Lam Saranoo, Rajouri town and several others places and recovered 70 liters of illicit liquor. The team also destroyed 350 kg lahan and 3 working stills and arrested four persons in this connection. They were identified as Rakesh Kumar of Potha, Jaswant Singh of Saranoo, Harpal Singh of Ward No. 9 Rajouri and Shambu Nath of Rajal.
