JAMMU, Dec 9: A deputation of Municipal and Urban Local Bodies Pensioners Association (MULBPA) Jammu province met Director, Local Fund Audit and Pensions-Finance Department.
Under the leadership of J R Sharma, working president of the association they apprised him the burning demands of the pensioners which are classification regarding disbursement of family pension to safai karamcharis, release of 3rd installment of 6th Pay Commission arrears and 10 % DA due from July 2013.
Other demands of release of gratuity and commutation funds with direction to all the treasury officers that disbursement be made on first come first serve and other allied demands were submitted.
The Director listened the demands patiently and assured for its earliest mitigation.
