JAMMU, Dec 9: Motivational programme on inculcating positive attitude among jail inmates was organized in District Jail Jammu today by Vikrant Mahajan, the author of “Super positivity”.
On this eve, painting competition among jail inmates was organized in collaboration with the Department of Music and Fine Arts, University of Jammu. K. Rajendra, Director General of Prisons who was the chief guest on the occasion, distributed prizes among the winners of the painting competition.
First prize was awarded to Vedival, undertrial prisoner, second prize to Kulwant Singh undertrial Prisoner and third prize was awarded to Talvinder Singh undertrial prisoner. The chief guest also spoke on the benefits of positivity of mind to the jail inmates.
Dinesh Sharma, Superinte-ndent District Jail Jammu, Dr. Mohd Sultan Lone, Dy. Inspector General of Prisons, Saba Shawl, Staff Officer to DG Prisons, Dr. Rakesh Verma, Sr. Medical Officer, Dr. Sandeep Raina, Dental Surgeon, Kewal Kishore, Account Officer and staff members were present on the occasion.
