Justice Moksha tours Bandipora, reviews functioning of courts

BANDIPORA, June 21: Jammu and Kashmir High Court Judge and Administrative Judge Bandipora, Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi today visited Bandipora district to review the functioning of the courts and to take stock of infrastructure development measures.
Justice Moksha took stock of ongoing construction works of New District Court Complex project at Kaloosa, Bandipora.
On her arrival in Bandipora district, she was warmly received by District and Sessions Judge Bandipora Amit Sharma, Judicial Magistrate Sumbal Bazila Bashir along with District Administration Bandipora at Sumbal.
She was presented guard of honour by the District Police Bandipora and facilitated by SSP, Bandipora, Lakshay Sharma.
At New District Court complex, Bandipora, Justice Moksha took stock of ongoing construction works. On the occasion the executing agency informed her about the physical and financial expenditure.
She was informed that the New Court Complex is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 35 crore approximately. It was further informed that the complex has been designed to provide an efficient and congenial judicial environment to the people of Bandipora and its adjoining areas.
Justice Kazmi impressed upon the executing agency to speed up work on the project and ensure that it is completed within the stipulated time frame.
Later, Justice Moksha alongwith District & Sessions Judge Bandipora, Amit Sharma and Chief Judicial Magistrate Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Zargar visited court complex Bandipora where she was received by Judicial Magistrate, Bandipora, Shayesta Nazir along with President Bar Association, Bandipora, Advocate Masood Ahmad Bhat along with other learned member of the Bar Association, Bandipora.
Justice Moksha visited court rooms and Chambers of Advocates and took first hand stock of the infrastructural needs. She interacted with the bar members who apprised the her about various issues. Shr also interacted with the female Advocates of the Bar and assured redressal of their grievances at an earliest.
The Administrative Judge offered a patient hearing to the demands and grievances and instructed concerned authorities to initiate efforts towards their immediate redressal.
