Modi gives tremendous boost to rural infrastructure: Bharat Bhushan

JAMMU, June 22: The Chairman of District Development Council (DDC) Jammu, Bharat Bhushan Bodhi, today kick-started the blacktopping of road from Mishriwala to Tokariyan in presence of PRI members and prominent people of the area. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 21 lakh.
In his address, Bharat Bhushan Bodhi commended the Modi Government for focusing on rural areas and facilitating huge development in these regions. He said that the policies of Modi Government have given a tremendous boost to rural infrastructure. He said that the planned road improvements are a significant boost for the area, improving transport links for local residents and helping to facilitate wider economic growth. The development of rural areas, such as this, is a key aspect of the Government’s agenda and represents a major step forward in ensuring sustainable economic growth for the entire region, he added.
“The Government at the Centre has made efforts to provide basic amenities, such as electricity, water, and sanitation to rural areas, which has resulted in overall development. The Modi Government has initiated various schemes for the benefit of farmers, including PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which provides financial assistance to small and marginal farmers,” Bharat Bhushan said.
The DDC Chairman stated that several other significant development projects in the pipeline, which will be implemented in a phased manner. He emphasized that the Government’s focus on rural development will continue, with more schemes and initiatives in the offing.
Prominent among those who were present include BDC Chairman, Kuldeep Raj Bhagat, Sarpanch, Pallavi Devi, Ankit Sharma, Rohit Verma, Kuldeep Singh Chib, S Bachan Singh, Panch Amar Jaral, Panch Bua Panch, and Panch Sunita Devi.
