Jamiat Ul Ulama slams police in alleged attempt to rape case

KARGIL, June 22: Jamiat Ul Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil today slammed the district police for not clarifying its stance on the recent alleged attempt to rape case which took place in Wakha village.

Addressing a press conference, president of Jamiat Ul Ulama, Sheikh Nazir Mahdi Mohammadi said that on every minor issue, the district police organize press conference but in this alleged attempt to rape case, the Police is mum. He said if police do not come with clear stance on this case, which is of grave nature, then they will be compelled to organize huge protest across Kargil district.
He said such cases must be condemned by all people of all religions because it’s against the humanity. He also appreciated the woman who dare to complaint at Wakha police station and lodged FIR against the culprit.
