Mahajan Sabha to arrange Langar for Amarnath pilgrims

JAMMU, June 23: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha has made arrangements for Langar to provide free food to Shri Amaranth pilgrims.
While sharing this information with media persons, here today, Romesh Chander Gupta, President, Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (JCMS), elaborated that a team of dedicated office bearers of the Sabha has been assigned duties to ensure that all the Yatries coming to Mahajan Bhawan, Shalamar Road Jammu for registration, may get breakfast and lunch Parsad throughout the Yatra period of 62 days with effect from 28th June, 2023, as announced by the Government.
For the pilgrims, a “Satba Katha” program will also take place in Mahajan Sabha with effect from 29th September 2023 to 5th October 2023, he added.
Balbir Gupta and Yash Pal Gupta have been assigned the duty of Langar Incharge during the Yatra period. C P Gupta & Mukesh Mahajan as usual, will take care of Press & Protocol arrangements during the entire yatra period. In this connection, Sabha held a meeting of office bearers to take timely and effective steps to ensure that daily arrangements are made in a regular and automatic way of working in a very peaceful manner without any confusion.
The President of the Sabha appealed all the permanent and new donors to donate in cash/kind at the Donation Counter at Mahajan Bhawan. “The holy Yatra is a symbol of compassion, spirituality, service, and peace. All of us should come forward to donate wholeheartedly for this noble cause. The biradari members should come forward and offer their help through donation in terms of monetary as well as material resources required for running the Langar,” he added.
All India Mahajan Shiromani Sabha President & MLA from Mukerian, Jangi Lal Mahajan also blessed the press conference and said that it is a matter of pride that JCMS is organizing Langar and Registration Seva in the Sabha Hall.
Rajinder Gupta, All India General Secretary of Shiromani Mahajan Sabha, Yash Pal Gupta (Chief Patron), Arun Gupta (President CCI) were also present in the press conference.
