Do justice with widows, others for pension: NAUP

JAMMU, June 23: National Awami United Party (NAUP) Youth leader, Parveen Kumar here today flayed the authorities concerned for stopping the pension of physically handicapped persons, widow pension and old age pension.
Addressing a press conference here today NAUP leader said that J&K LG administration is not paying attention to the issues of these people due to which these deprived people are on roads.
He said that the pension for these people should be hiked from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 3000 per month as Rs. 1000 is not sufficient in these days of soaring prices of commodities.
The NAUP leader urged upon J&K LG, Manoj Sinha to look into the matter personally as to why the pension of widows, old age people and physically challenged persons has been stopped from last some months.
Mohit Kumar and Bodh Raj were also present on the occasion.
