KCWT chairman meets SSP Rajouri

RAJOURI, June 24: Chairman of Kotli Colony Welfare Trust (KCWT) Chandan Datta today met SSP Rajouri and discussed present scenario and situation of Rajouri.
During the meeting, the SSP said that Rajouri police is available 24×7 to people of Rajouri. He stated that Rajouri police is working hard to eradicate drug menace and regarding that organizing many events and awareness campaign to aware youth to stay away from drugs.
ASP Rajouri Vivek Shekhar, who was also present in the meeting, said that we are after drug peddlers and identifying such persons who are threat to our society. He said civil society of Rajouri is also supporting the Police to eliminate drug menace.
Datta vividly said that Rajouri has witnessed change in policing in just few days after Amritpal joined as SSP Rajouri. He said that our society is in dire need of an efficient police officer like Amritpal Singh to serve mankind in real sense and work at ground level. He said that KCWT will selflessly work with the police to keep our society crime and drug free.
The KCWT chairman said the people of Rajouri are fortunate enough to have such a dedicated and honest district police team at their town working under upright and noble officer SSP Amritpal Singh.
DSP HQ Latif was also present in the meeting.
