The kind of action that was required from the government agencies to tackle this is missing. Being the premier mainstream political party, JKNC has launched a campaign to counter this menace which continues to devour our youth. Realising the gravity of the situation, it has become imperative to initiate an all-out war against drug abuse in J&K.”
Rather said that the National Conference was determined to fight this war against substance abuse and at this time there is an urgent need to increase public pressure in this matter so that the government is forced to take concrete and effective measures to end this epidemic.
He said that the new generation is being destroyed due to drug abuse and being a key political party, we will not neglect our responsibilities to eradicate this scourge.
