JAMMU, June 25: The rank list for admission to various BTech programmes of SASTRA Deemed University was released today.
In Stream 1 (50% of seats based on JEE Main and +2 marks), Paluvadi Dinesh Manideep from Narayana Junior College, Hyderabad secured 1st rank with a combined score of 99.1756 for his +2 aggregate of 987 out of 1000 and JEE Main score of 99.65119 followed by Chappidi Kuldeep Reddy from Sri Chaitanya Junior College, Tirupati with a combined score of 98.8592.
Similarly, in Stream 2 (based on Class XII aggregate scores), M Abhijith from Bharathamatha Higher Secondary School Chandranagar, Palakkad secured 1st rank for his 100% aggregate in the qualifying Class XII examinations and Roshini Banu from Chellammal Matriculation Girls Higher Secondary School, Trichy secured second rank with an aggregate score of 597 out of 600.
Setting the application deadline at 5 pm on June 24, Sastra released the rank list on the same day. SASTRA is the only deemed university using the JEE-Main Scores and +2 aggregate together for its admission process without conducting its own entrance exams. Students from J&K and North-Eastern states joining SASTRA shall be offered 100% scholarship with free boarding and lodging.
