JAMMU, June 25: A 28-year-old youth today made an abortive attempt on his life in Bahu Fort area of city outskirts.
“Ajay Pandey son of late Shiv Shankar Panday, resident of Block 64-B Railway East Colony (Jammu) tried to cut his throat and right wrist with a knife at his home,” Police sources said.
However, his family members noticed his act timely and shifted him in injured condition at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical treatment. Bahu Fort Police had taken cognizance of the matter.
