Ashok’s concern over negligence of far flung Shopyal, Balawat villages

RAMBAN, June 26: Former MLA from Ramban took an extensive tour to far flung Shopyal and Balawat villages of Ramban constituency and listened to various grievances of the local people.
In a statement issued here, Ashok strongly questioned the Secretary School Education J&K regarding construction of Primary School Shopyal which was sanctioned a decade earlier. He said the students have to walk several miles in thick and dense forest and are vulnerable to many ecological threats.
Ashok also urged upon the Secretary Health to examine the dilapidated condition of Balawat First Aid Centre and upgrade it to full-fledged Primary Health Centre as people are suffering badly due to non availability of basic health amenities in the region.
The former MLA also demanded Chief Engineer PMGSY to complete the stretch of entire PMGSY road from Shopyal to Kriya and further upto Madani with proper drainage along the sloping sides. He also urged the concerned authorities to repair the damaged road from Maitra to Balawat.
He also urged the Director Tourism to develop this entire region upto Ladhadhar Shakpal Devta as it has vast potential in tourism sector.
