SAMBA, June 26: Two young individuals lost their lives, while another sustained severe injuries in a tragic road accident here at Ghagwal Area this afternoon.
As per information available with the Excelsior, a car collided with a motorcycle near Nonath, Ghagwal on the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway, resulting in the serious injuries of three riders.
They were immediately rushed to Ghagwal Hospital for initial medical aid, and later referred to Government Medical College Jammu for advanced treatment.
Unfortunately, two of the injured youths, identified as 17-year-old Sunil Kumar (son of Bishan Das) and 18-year-old Gulshan Kumar (son of Ramesh Lal), succumbed to their injuries. The third injured youth, identified as 22-year-old Sanjay Kumar (son of Bishan Das), is currently receiving medical care.
The deceased youths were residents of Noni village in Tehsil Dinga Amb, District Kathua.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the law and seized the vehicle involved in the accident.
