Weatherman forecasts evening showers in Kashmir till July 1

Srinagar, June 27 : Weatherman today forecasted evening showers in Kashmir and cloudy weather conditions till July 1.
A Meteorological Department official said that from June 28- July 1, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy. “Rain likely in the evening,” he said.
He said that water level in rivers and streams and nallas are also expected to rise. “All are requested to remain cautious/alert during the active phase of monsoon in J&K,” he added.
Srinagar recorded rainfall of 0.6mm, Qazigund 4.2 mm, Pahalgam 1.4 mm, Kupwara 0.0 mm, Kokernag 12.4 mm and Gulmarg 0.0 mm.
Srinagar recorded a low of 19.4°C against 17.6°C on the previous night and it was above normal by 2.1°C for the city.
Qazigund recorded a low of 17.0°C against 16.6°C on the previous night and it was above normal by 1.3°C for the town.
Pahalgam recorded a low of 13.0°C against 13.8°C on the previous night and it was 2.3°C above normal for the famous tourist resort.
In Kupwara town, the mercury settled at 17.5°C against 15.4°C on the previous night and it was above normal by 2.1°C for the town.
Kokernag recorded a low of 16.0°C against 16.3°C on the previous night and it was 0.7°C above normal for the place.
Gulmarg recorded a low of 11.5°C against 11.0°C on previous night and it was above normal by 0.1°C for the skiing resort.
