8 arrested, vehicles seized for illegal mining

SRINAGAR, June 27: Police today seized 8 vehicles and arrested 8 persons in north Kashmir Baramulla for their involvement in the illegal extraction and transportation of minerals
A police party led by SHO Baramulla under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla seized 8 vehicles and arrested 8 persons at Drangbal Baramulla for their involvement in the illegal extraction and transportation of minerals.
“The accused drivers have been identified as Aqib Nayeem Wani son of Nayeem Ahmad Wani resident of Taki Sultan Drangbal, Mohd Asif Tantray son of Manzoor Ahmad resident of Zoogiyar, Imtiyaz Ahmad Gojri, son of Gh Mohd, resident of Drangbal, Imtiyaz Ahmad Malik, son of Gh Hassan, resident of Drangbal, Mohd Syed Dar, son of Gh Ahmad, resident of Jalsheeri, Bashir Ahmad Gojri, son of Mohd Usman, resident of Drangbal, Junaid Ahmad Peer, son of Bashir Ahmad, resident of Lolab Sogam and Wahid Ahmad Sheikh, son of Gh Qadir, resident of Seer Jageer,” police said.
Accordingly, police said, a case under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Baramulla
