JAMMU, June 27: Two bike borne thieves snatched a woman’s gold chain from Channi Himmat Area here today. Their act has been caught on the camera but police are yet to make any arrest in the case.
Aggrieved Meenakshi Sharma wife of Deepak Chopra of Channi Himmat said she was walking near Hotel Ritz Manor lane when two bike-borne youth obstructed her path on Monday at around 3:10 Pm and snatched her gold chain.
Immediately after commissioning of the crime, the victim reported the matter to police, who have registered a case and started investigating the matter.
“We’ve registered an FIR number 95/2023 under section 382 of the IPC and the investigation is underway to identify and arrest the accused,” said SHO Channi Himmat, Neeraj Choudhary.
