BARAMULLA, June 30: Police in this town booked 34 bikers and seized as many vehicles for traffic violations today.
A police spokesperson said that the violators were booked for stunt biking, triple riding, and rash and negligent driving by teams of Police Station Kunzer led by Inspector Waseem Jehangir, SHO Kunzer, and Police Station Tangmarg led by Inspector Tawseef Habib, SHO Tangmarg.
“The purpose of the drive was to check and eradicate traffic violations and provide a safe road for law abiding citizens,” he said.
Meanwhile, Police have further requested the bikers to ride carefully, wear helmets, and follow traffic rules.
