KISHTWAR, July 1: Road connectivity to Kishtwar was restored today after it remained close for about 12 hrs.
As per reports last night at around 3 am there was a landslide between Thathri-Kishtwar on NH 244 near Kandani, 22 km from Kishtwar as a result of which the vehicular traffic was stopped from the both sides.

Though men and machinery were pressed into service to clear the slide but it was only after carrying out blasts the boulders could be removed and the road was cleared for vehicular moment after 2 pm giving a big relief to the people who were stuck on the highway due to landslide.
