JAMMU, July 5: A Pakistani national roaming suspiciously along the International Border (IB) in R S Pura Sector was apprehended by the alert Border Security Force (BSF) troops today.
Police said Zulfiqar Ali son of Manroof Mohammad Mital of Kumb, Sind Province, Pakistan, was noticed roaming under mysterious circumstances near Raipur Syedan, Suchetgarh, Jammu, by BSF jawans around 9.15 am today.
After interrogation, he was handed over to the R S Pura Police by the BSF at around 5.05 pm.
SDPO RS Pura, Nikhil Gogna said that the Pakistani national has been caught with Rs 15 Indian currency and Rs 300 Pakistani currency.
“He is being quizzed further,” said the officer.
