JAMMU, Dec 13: To monitor the progress of implementation of the 48 MW Lower Kalnai and 37.5 MW Parnai Hydro Electric Projects, the State Government has constituted a committee of Administrative Secretaries of different departments.
To ensure completion of the projects within stipulated time frame of 48 months since the award of contracts, the committee will also suggest all possible measures and avenues for reduction in the cost of the project, so as to bring the tariff within the prevailing market price and norms.
With Managing Director PDC as the Member Secretary, members of the committee are Administrative Secretaries of Finance Department, Planning and Development, PDD, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control and Revenue Department.
