JAMMU, July 6: The Crime Branch Jammu today carried out raids at the office of Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu Principal Dr Shashi Sudhan Sharma to collect documents in connection with Date of Birth forgery case.

Few days back, the Crime Branch Jammu had registered First Information Report (FIR) against the GMC Principal for forging date of birth.
Officials said the Crime Branch teams reached the Government Medical College this morning and conducted search in the office of the Principal.
Searches continued for two to three hours, they said.
The Crime Branch seized certain documents during searches in the Principal’s office, the officials said, adding the documents will be examined during investigations.
Searches, however, concluded peacefully, they said.
Further investigations in the date of birth fudging case of the GMC Jammu Principal are being conducted by a special team of the Crime Branch Jammu.
